Adventure Route

Details

An early departure from your Fes accommodation will be provided beginning at 07:30 a.m. The journey will continue south, with a wonderful stop at the fascinating city of Ifrane. Take a minute to relax and enjoy the beauty of the city, which has been dubbed the Moroccan version of Switzerland due to its distinctive architecture molded by heavy winter snowfall. Another visit will be made at the conserved cedar forest, a UNESCO site that is home to an endangered colony of Babary Macaques. Prepare to travel the awe-inspiring High Atlas Mountains after a lunch stop in either Midelt or the city of Zaida. Though the route is winding, the scenic panoramas make the drive worthwhile. Enjoy a panoramic view of the Ziz Valley before making your way to the Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert via Erfoud. It's time to embark on an amazing camel ride, precisely timed to capture the breathtaking sunset—the highlight of our desert expedition. Indulge in a scrumptious meal served at our opulent desert camp's restaurant or beneath the starlit sky. Consider taking a stroll to observe the sparkling stars before retiring to your individual tent for a comfortable night's sleep in preparation for the day's excursions.
Rise early today to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise over the beautiful sand dunes—an unforgettable experience. Enjoy your breakfast in the soft morning light, either outside or inside our café. After that, have a rejuvenating shower before continuing on your trek into the lush Dades Valley. En way, a stop at a local factory in Erfoud will be included, where you will be able to witness the interesting process of unearthing fossils and changing them into magnificent designs through the polishing process. Take a leisurely stroll through the awe-inspiring Todra Gorge, which is famous for its towering cliffs that have drawn mountain climbers from all over the world, as well as residents seeking relief from the heat. Continuing along the path, you will arrive in the late afternoon in the Dades Valley, giving you plenty of time to explore and admire its natural grandeur.
Your travel to Marrakech will resume after breakfast at your accommodation or Riad. Take a short break in the verdant Valley of the Roses, where you can learn about the creation of rose-based items such as perfumes, rose-water, cosmetics, and more. Following that, you'll pass through Ouarzazate, also known as the "Hollywood of Africa," because of its Atlas Film Studios. Numerous national and international films have been shot here, including Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and Prince of Persia, adding to the city's cinematic attractiveness. Later, you'll get the chance to visit the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Village. This fascinating monument is made up of many Kasbahs, each with towering walls, tiny windows, and doorways. It was previously a significant market junction, linking Marrakech to the Sahara as commercial caravans traversed the desert. After a filling lunch, the travel to Marrakech continues, with various stops along the road to take picturesque shots and relax. You'll travel through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260 m), before arriving in Marrakech late in the afternoon. The 3-day excursion from Fes to Marrakech comes to an end, leaving you with wonderful memories of this incredible adventure.
